Hey, I'm Athena!!

I'm a photographer, wife, dog enthusiast, gardener, nerd about nature, and a tea lover.

My favorite things revolve around the outdoors--I love hiking, gardening, having picnics, bird watching, and spending time with my friends (and my dog Hazel) outside!

My husband and I met during our freshman year at Northern Arizona University. After we graduated, he commissioned in the Air Force and we moved across the country to Omaha where we currently live!

A little more about me--I'm kind of obsessed with my dog. We got her when she was 3 months old and my husband and I have revolved our lives around her since day one. If you ever see me anywhere, I will most likely have Hazel at my side.
When I got my first camera my first loyal photo subject was our family dog, so if you want to bring your dog(s) along on your session I'm all for it! Give me dogs, nature, and a camera and I'll be happy!

By now you're probably starting to get that I really love to be outdoors. That's why I love being a photographer! Photography combines my favorite things: taking photos, making meaningful connections, and getting outside. I love capturing a mixture of real moments along with posed smiley photos your grandparents want to to hang on their fridge.
